Harry Styles kicks off this week’s edition of your favourite global hits radio show before we touch down in Colombia. Thereafter, it’s a transatlantic leap to Africa with two blockbusters, one Zouk and the other Kwaito to get things started. That sets the tone for our magical mystery musical journey across the planet.

Israel, USA, Serbia, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Germany, UK and Zaire just a few of the countries we stop off in this week.

How would you feel if your boss said that going to the toilet could only happen in your own time? We delve into a recent Swiss lawsuit around employees of a prestigious watchmaker being forced to clock out before they take a comfort break.

In the first hour, fellow presenter Dan Sweeney also drops in as always, with a ‘One Hit Wonder Classic’ – an artist that only enjoyed success once in the US Billboard chart.  This week, Dan’s rewinding all the way back to 1989 with a Canadian rock blues band headed by a blind guitarist. Inspiring.

In hour 2, our ‘Chapter One’ segment unearths the first song from a famous artist. This week, we’re stopping off in the Ural district of Russia with a singer/dancer who first came to prominence on the TV show ‘Russian Ninja’.

Also, amongst a wealth of yet more great releases from all over the globe, we delve into the back of the station’s record library in the ’80s fix’ segment, picking out two classics from years gone by.  On this edition of WorldMix, it’s all about pop socks, larger than life hairstyles and winklepicker shoes. (Oh the memories!)

You know it’s going to be another jammed packed show ready for broadcast on YOUR station.
